Meet The Founder
Casey, the founder of Cert Hero, brings firsthand experience navigating Australia’s trade certification and skills recognition system. Originally from the UK, he arrived in Australia as a qualified refrigeration mechanic, successfully having his overseas trade recognised before completing a full Australian electrical apprenticeship. With additional experience in the mining sector and offshore certification requirements, he understands the exact challenges and questions tradespeople face when trying to become work-ready in Australia. This real-world journey inspired the creation of Cert Hero - a consulting service dedicated to guiding overseas tradespeople, apprentices, and local tradies through certification pathways, RTO processes, assessment authorities, and career development with clarity and confidence.
