These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cert Hero website, services, client portal, forms, and all associated communications.

By engaging Cert Hero Pty Ltd, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Cert Hero

Cert Hero Pty Ltd (ABN: 46 693 035 184, ACN: 693 035 184) is an Australian-based consulting and administrative services business that assists tradespeople with:

• Overseas skills recognition

• Australian skills assessments (including TRA, VETASSESS, and other relevant authorities)

• Gap training coordination

• Licensing and certification support

• Industry-specific pathways including mining, FIFO, offshore, apprenticeships, and site certifications

Cert Hero is not an assessment authority, regulator, registered training organisation (RTO), or licensing body.

2. Scope of Services

Cert Hero provides:

• Preliminary eligibility screening based on information supplied by the client

• Pathway guidance and advisory services

• Evidence preparation and document organisation

• Application preparation and submission on the client’s behalf

• Liaison with assessment authorities, RTOs, and third parties

• Administrative and consulting support throughout the process

Cert Hero’s eligibility assessment is preliminary only and does not constitute a guarantee of eligibility or outcome.

Final eligibility determinations are made solely by third-party assessment authorities such as TRA, VETASSESS, RTOs, or licensing bodies.

Cert Hero does not:

• Guarantee eligibility, approval, or successful outcomes

• Control decisions made by assessment authorities

• Issue trade qualifications, licences, or skills recognition

3. Authority to Act

By engaging Cert Hero, you authorise us to:

• Act as your representative for skills assessments and certification processes

• Communicate with TRA, VETASSESS, RTOs, licensing bodies, and other third parties on your behalf

• Prepare, submit, and manage applications using the information you provide

4. Fees and Payments

4.1 Cert Hero Service Fees

Cert Hero charges a pathway-based service fee for consulting and administrative services.

These fees cover Cert Hero’s professional services only.

4.2 Excluded Fees

Cert Hero service fees do not include:

• TRA fees

• VETASSESS fees

• RTO or training provider fees

• Licensing authority or government fees

All third-party fees are payable separately by the client and may change without notice.

4.3 Payment Structure

• Payment may be required upfront or in staged payments depending on the pathway

• Invoices may be issued by Cert Hero

• Failure to pay fees may result in suspension or termination of services

5. Refund Policy

Cert Hero operates on a professional services model.

Once work has commenced, Cert Hero service fees are non-refundable, including where:

• An assessment outcome is unsuccessful

• A client withdraws after commencement

• An application is delayed or refused by a third party

Cert Hero provides preliminary eligibility guidance only. Final eligibility decisions are made by TRA, VETASSESS, RTOs, or other relevant authorities.

At our discretion, partial refunds may be considered only where no work has commenced.

6. Client Responsibilities

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for ensuring you meet eligibility criteria set by relevant assessment authorities before engaging Cert Hero’s services

• Cert Hero conducts a basic and preliminary eligibility assessment only, based on information you provide

• Final eligibility decisions rest entirely with TRA, VETASSESS, RTOs, or other relevant authorities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information

• Supply genuine and verifiable documents

• Promptly disclose any information that may affect eligibility

• Respond to requests within reasonable timeframes

Cert Hero is not responsible for outcomes impacted by inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information supplied by the client.

7. Timeframes

All timeframes provided are estimates only.

Assessment authorities, RTOs, and licensing bodies operate independently and may cause delays outside Cert Hero’s control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Cert Hero is not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss

• Cert Hero’s total liability is limited to the fees paid to Cert Hero for the relevant service

9. No Guarantee of Outcome

You acknowledge that:

• Assessment and licensing decisions are made solely by third-party authorities

• Cert Hero does not guarantee approval, recognition, licensing, or certification

10. Termination

Cert Hero may terminate services if:

• Fees remain unpaid

• False or misleading information is provided

• These Terms are breached

No refunds will be provided for work completed prior to termination.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, templates, systems, and materials provided by Cert Hero remain the intellectual property of Cert Hero Pty Ltd and may not be reproduced without written consent.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
